STEPHEN TAIT
DIRECTOR
BA(Hons), Dip Arch, RIBA

MY STORY
Stephen founded Tait Architects in January 2011, driven by a passionate belief in the positive impact of thoughtful, high-quality contemporary design.
His holistic and visionary approach has shaped a wide range of exceptional buildings both locally and further afield. From its beginnings with a luxury spa complex in the Hampshire countryside, Tait Architects has grown to deliver projects across all sectors, scales and ages.
These include a large educational facility in London, a 17-acre woodland accommodation retreat in the Essex countryside, sensitive renovations and extensions to Grade I and Grade II listed buildings, and a variety of residential projects, ranging from bespoke new builds to considered extensions.
Stephen believes the success of any design lies in the strength of its connections, between people, place, and purpose. His approachable, honest and collaborative style is consistent throughout every stage of a project. With a strong interest in sustainability and longevity, Stephen’s ethos ensures that every project is as thoughtful as it is timeless.
